    A journey inside you

Imagine that you are walking on a path in a forest. Sunlight filters through the trees, but there are shadows that make the path uncertain. Sometimes, the path seems clear and direct, other times it gets lost among the leaves, leaving you with a sense of loss.

This path is your life. Every step you take brings you closer to a deeper understanding of yourself, but sometimes along the way you can feel stuck, confused, or just plain lonely. And precisely in those moments, starting a journey can make the difference.

We are all looking for our own happiness, peace and well-being. However, sometimes we feel stuck or look for the direction to take, in people and situations that don’t correspond to us. Other times, we are simply afraid, or we don’t feel we deserve as much.

For this reason, I believe that the first step to achieving our fulfillment as human beings is precisely to transform the pain within ourselves.

“I would like to ask you to have patience with what appears unresolved in your heart and to cherish the questions themselves (…) And the point is to live everything. Live your questions now so perhaps you will be able, little by little, without realizing it, to one day have the possibility of living the answers.”

Rainer Maria Rilke, Letters to a Young Poet

    Who I am

My name is Chiara, I have a degree in Clinical Psychology and I carried out my internship training in a hospital setting. I subsequently expanded my training by 4 years in cognitive-constructivist psychotherapy.

In 2016 I dedicated myself to scientific research activities in the field of clinical psychology and psycho-oncology in Australia. Upon my return to Italy in 2018 I continued to deal with psycho-oncology and support for minors in conditions of prejudice

Today I live in Spain, in Barcelona where I carry out my activity both online and in person and lead therapy groups in collaboration with other professionals in a studio in the center of the city.

    My approach

The cognitive-constructivist approach is based on the assumption that our experience of reality is not an objective representation, but a subjective construction. Each person constructs reality based on their own internal rules, through their own life experiences, thus creating their own internal mental map necessary to orient themselves in the world. Imagine that each of us carries with us a “lens”, built over time through experiences, emotions and memories. It is through this lens that we interpret the world, our relationships and what happens to us. Therapy then becomes a path of exploration to understand how we have constructed these visions, what they have served us for in the past and to find new ways of seeing and experiencing reality. Freer, safer and closer to what we really want.

    Our journey together

My role as a Psychologist is to walk alongside you on this journey. Not because I know all the answers, but because together we can explore the right questions. My mission is to help you find your path, rediscover your inner resources and overcome the obstacles that arise along the way.

When you decide to embark on a path to work on yourself, you are no longer alone on that path. Each session is a moment of reflection, a safe space where you can express your deepest thoughts, your fears, your hopes.

Whether you are facing a moment of crisis, a major change in your life, or simply feel the need to understand yourself better, our work together will give you the tools to navigate through difficulties and discover your true potential.

    The destination of the journey

The journey we will undertake together has no fixed destination, but is something we can conceive together, in an ongoing process. Along the way, you will discover new ways of seeing yourself and the world around you.

The first step is always the most difficult, but also the most important. If you feel that the time has come to take care of yourself and explore new possibilities, I will be happy to meet you and walk alongside you on this journey.

    Therapy groups

In the group context, the work is carried out by integrating psychological therapy with practices oriented towards bodily presence such as yoga, meditation, and mindfulness-based practices. This helps us, through the body, to open new access routes to conscious perception. In fact, our body memorizes emotional experiences through neural connections and physiological reactions that are expressed at both a psychological and physical level. Through the body, one can therefore access emotional states of consciousness directly.

The goal is to find a place where you can return to yourself, to your inner home, and then move through the world full of soul, presence, awareness, and respect for your boundaries.

The group contains within itself an enormous potential that lies mainly in the possibility of sharing and mutual support in a protected place and with the complete absence of any judgment. When you enter the group you leave your social roles and all expectations outside; you bring what you are without external definitions. A truly exciting journey!

The duration varies from 3 to 6 months up to a year. The themes of the different groups also vary and can be more or less specific to a particular problem.
